Overview
As part of my work with the Potter College of Arts & Letters at Western Kentucky University, I photographed the full lineup of PCAL and PCAL 60th Anniversary merchandise. The goal was to create clean, detailed product imagery that reflected the identity of the college and supported marketing materials, social media, and event promotions.
Challenge
PCAL needed consistent and well-styled photos of multiple merchandise items for a wide variety of uses. The images needed to feel modern and cohesive while highlighting details, texture, and brand consistency.
Approach
I handled the art direction, styling, and photography for the entire shoot. I used natural lighting and minimal styling to create a unified visual style that paired with PCAL’s existing brand identity. The photographed items included:
60th Anniversary Hat
PCAL Tote Bag
60th Anniversary Mug
PCAL Red Towel
Standard PCAL Shirts
PCAL 60th Anniversary Magnet
PCAL Pennant
Solution
The final gallery includes a mix of styled compositions, flat lays, and clean product shots. Each image highlights quality, color, and craftsmanship while maintaining consistency with PCAL’s design language.
Impact
These images give PCAL an updated library of product photography for current and upcoming marketing needs. The visuals contribute to a more polished and cohesive brand presence across campus materials and online platforms.
